How to Behave at the Hartford Civic Center

Attending a concert, basketball game, or other event at the Hartford Civic Center? Here are the building rules you should be aware of before you go:

Here's How:
- Once you enter the Hartford Civic Center Veterans Memorial Coliseum for an event, you will not be allowed to leave and return for the same event.
- No smoking is allowed inside the Hartford Civic Center Veterans Memorial Coliseum or Exhibition Center. If you must smoke, the outside smoking area for Coliseum events is located behind section 107 and may or may not be available.
- "Instamatic-type" cameras are allowed at most events, but don't bring video cameras, audio recording devices, and cameras with large telephoto lenses.
- Don't bring laser pointers, noisemakers, whistles, air horns, coolers, bottles, cans, drugs, or weapons.
- You will not be allowed to bring any food or beverages into the Hartford Civic Center. Both may be purchased inside.
Tips:
- If you are in need of medical attention, you'll find a first aid station located on the Coliseum concourse behind section 113.
- The Hartford Civic Center has an exclusive arrangement with Ticketmaster for ticket sales. The Civic Center box office will not be open for ticket sales on the first day an event becomes available.
