Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition Opens Saturday in Hartford

Thursday April 10, 2008
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will make the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, its temporary home starting Saturday, April 12, 2008 for a limited engagement. The story of the Titanic's fateful voyage has captured the imagination of millions for decades, touchingly and dramatically illustrating man's fallibility and the triumphs and tragedies of human nature. This exhibition brings the Titanic story vividly to life through objects recovered from the famous shipwreck. You'll also see recreations of first and third class cabins and the ship's Boiler Room, touch an iceberg and learn about Connecticut connections to the Titanic story. Although an end date for the exhibition's Hartford run has not yet been announced, make plans to see this moving and thought-provoking display soon.
